Advantages
It is an ornamental tree which is commonly cultivated in gardens and along roadsides, for its showy, pink flowers which form an entire beautiful crown during flowering season.
Interesting Facts
The scientific name comes from the Brazilian word "Tabebuia" which means "ant-wood" which refers to the ants that live in hollow twigs of some Tabebuia species and "Rosea" refers to rose-coloured flowers.
